Perricone’s Sunday brunch

Perricone’s Marketplace Sunday Brunch

Brunch anyone?

Having been to Perricone’s Marketplace for $10.00 Pasta Thursday’s and loving it, we decided to try their brunch while celebrating my son’s birthday.  We love going to this Italian restaurant as it is very casual, the food has always been delicious and services is outstanding.  They offer a buffet style brunch for only $21.99 per person, hey, where else can you find brunch at such price specially in the Downtown-Brickell area.

Our reservation was for 11:00 a.m., parking is not an issue at Perricone’s as they offer valet parking which gets validated at the end of the meal as long as you have your valet ticket.   The host was gracious and even though we were early, we were seated promptly.  They sat us in their outdoor patio which is under a permanent white tent and surrounded by beautiful green foliage,as you can see in the picture below.  The lighting from the outside daylight gave it a warm appeal and don’t worry, the tent is air-conditioned.

Once the server came over and took our drink orders, of course, coffee for us, we went to the line of the buffet, started with their bread assortment, which included croissants, your choice of spread, butter, jams, cream cheese, etc.   Next came the food warmers with roasted potatoes, pancakes, sausages, salmon, bagels, croissants, pastas. Did I mention that it is all you can eat? You can repeat as many times as you want; however, not sure what happened that day that none of my family members repeated.

If you are looking for eggs, well, you are in luck, they have an omelette station, where you can get a white or regular egg omelette with your choice of ingredients, I ordered a western omelet. Mine was a little runny but that is my fault I should have said something when I saw him slide it unto my plate. I am not a fan of runny egg.

While I was in line yet being for the buffet or the omelet, I heard soft music playing and I looked up and saw this gentleman playing a flute on the balcony. Very nice touch, don’t you think? Although, later on, the music was much livelier.

Having been to other restaurants for brunch, Perricone’s  brunch offers your every day breakfast food at a great price with a nice atmosphere. definitely, would go back in the future.

But my favorite  time to go has to be on Thursday’s for their $10.00 Pasta Thursday special. Their food is amazing, just read my blog post on my food blog at  foodlvr .

To recap my post:

  1. Great location
  2. Great price
  3. Nice atmosphere
  4. Great food
