Check Your Ticketmaster Accounts
You may have Free General Admission or discounted tickets in your account
Some of you might have heard on the news or seen posts in social media regarding a settlement involving Ticketmaster. I found out thanks to one of my fellow bloggers who posted this information. I logged into my Ticketmaster account which I have not done so in months and checked the My Vouchers tab and there there were eight free general admission tickets along with discount codes and free shipping.
I don’t know much about lawsuits but what I read is that this Class Action Lawsuit was brought up by some customers who felt that the company had been deceptive and misleading in their ticket selling strategies and a settlement had been reached after ten years. If you want to learn more about this settlement go to Curt Schlesinger et al. v. Ticketmaster
To check if you are part of the settlement:
Log in to your Ticketmaster account
Go to My Account
Go to My Vouchers
If you had an account between 1999 and 2013 and purchases tickets through ticketmaster, you too might find voucher(s) in your account. Please note that not everyone will receive tickets, some customers have received up to 28 tickets and some as small as two. But hey, when you are a family of four like me, I welcome any free tickets even if its just one.
